Good Condition. Shows wear. May have scuffs, scratches and some surface grazing. Graphite shafts may have one or two small bag rubs. Steel shafts will probably have pitting with wear to shaft bands and possibly some missing. There would be no effect to playability.

Fair Condition. Shows obvious wear. Graphite shafts will most likely have scuffs, scratches, grazing and large bag rubs which may have started to cause some structural damaged. Steel shafts would show a large amount of visible wear with scuffs and pitting, there may be shaft bands missing. But overall the shaft will still be useable.
